WDFAM

Terms of Service

Last updated September 26, 2026

These terms govern your use of WDFAM (“We Don’t Fight About Money”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use WDFAM.

The service

WDFAM reads the card statements you upload and shows where your money goes. If you invite a partner, it also helps you decide how each shared charge is split and works out who owes whom each month. It’s a record-keeping and calculation tool. It doesn’t move money, connect to your bank, or give financial, tax, or legal advice.

Your account

Households

Your account starts as a household of one, visible only to you. A household is shared between its members. When you invite someone or join a household, its members can see the household’s shared transactions, splits, and settlements, including those from statements you upload. Charges marked personal stay private to the person they belong to, unless the other member paid for them. A month is finalized only once every member has signed off on its settlement.

Your content

You keep ownership of the statements and information you add. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide WDFAM to you and your household, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only upload statements you have the right to share: your own, or ones the account holder has agreed to share.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

Accuracy

Statement parsing, split suggestions, and settlement figures are automated and can be wrong. Review them before you rely on them or pay anyone. You and your partner are responsible for the amounts you agree on and any payments you make.

Availability and changes

We work to keep WDFAM available and your data safe, but we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your transactions.

Ending your use

You can stop using WDFAM at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@wedontfightaboutmoney.app. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other people at risk.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

WDFAM is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from amounts you and your partner settle, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for WDFAM in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and let you know by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use WDFAM after that means you accept the new terms.
